Shaggy, 90s Nostalgia And The Bold Hour

With acts like Aqua, Craig David and S Club selling out venues all over the UK & Ireland, it's clear to the team at YOUTH that 90s nostalgia is at its peak. It was this refound love for 90s music that resulted in 100s of people queuing around the block in March for Orchard’s Thieves ‘Bold Hour’.

Taking to the stage was Mr. Boombastic himself, the legendary Shaggy! Banging out hits like ‘It wasn’t me’, ‘Angel’ and ‘Boombastic’; if you closed your eyes it could have been 1995 all over again.

This type of nostalgia is nothing new - we've been obsessing about our 80s childhoods for years. Happy Days was a love letter from the grownups of 1970s to their 1950s youth. But, with access to every piece of music ever recorded now a simple click away, the temptation to Google a classic tune can send you tumbling down down a nostalgic digital rabbit hole for hours on end. So sit back, load up The Vengaboys on YouTube and enjoy your trip down memory lane.
